The general idea behind this app is to make your pantry digital so that you easily can check the status of your items no matter where you are. The app is made to keep track of the expiration date of your products and to discover new dishes. The app will also remind you when an item is about to go bad to prevent unnecessary food waste. To add a product, just scan the barcode on the product and the product will automatically be added to your digital pantry. From the app, you’ll also be able to order new items from stores such as Amazon or Walmart.
In the app, you’re also be able to find recipes based on what you have in stock or with any optional search term. And if you miss any ingredients for a specific dish, you’ll be able to order the complete list of items you may need direct within the app.
Imagine a digital version of your pantry that could keep track on all your pantry items, give you a notice when you need to restock an item, find recipes for an item and more.
During the end of 2017, I had the opportunity to work with a talented team to create a visual concept for this service.
